My name is Megan, and along with my husband Kurt and our 3 daughters, we make Megans Labradors. We are a small, in-home, breeder; located in southeast MO. We do not have a facility/kennel as our dogs live with us and are our family first - not just breeders. We reside on a farm - that is what my husband does full time, and I mostly stay home with our girls and animals. When I am not home, I am working as a veterinary technician. We have cattle, horses, dwarf goats, chickens, ducks, geese, guineas, rabbits, cats, and of course Labradors!
Our Story
Labradors have been a huge part of my family for as long as I can remember. My parents grew up with labs and knew they wanted the same for me. For my 5th birthday, I came home to see the cutest yellow lab puppy waiting for me. His name was Koden. He was a staple in our family for 14 years before we had to say our goodbyes. I knew as soon as I was finished with school and into a place of my own that I would have another Labrador. My husband and I moved into our home in 2018, which is when I also graduated college. The day I finished school, I drove straight to get the start of our breeding program - Lexi. We have since added to our family from there, and Lexi girl has since retired and still resides here on our farm. Our little girls are growing up with the same love for the breed and are sure to never miss out on puppy snuggles.
